This change applies to the USD-cash-settled perpetual contracts PF_XBTUSD and PF_ETHUSD, with trading available 24/7. The enhanced leverage is accessible to international users in eligible regions without the need for account migration or additional applications. The new leverage structure employs a tiered system. For Bitcoin contracts, up to 100x leverage is available for the first $1 million in notional position size, with reduced leverage for amounts exceeding this threshold. Similarly, Ethereum contracts offer up to 100x leverage for the first $500,000 in notional position size. Kraken Pro emphasizes that this is a dynamic, tiered calculation rather than a flat rate, adjusting as position sizes increase.
