Keyrock, a digital asset service provider based in Brussels, Belgium, has announced the completion of its Series C funding round, achieving a valuation of approximately $1 billion. The round was led by SC Ventures, the venture capital arm of Standard Chartered Bank, with participation from existing investor Ripple. The funding round remains open, with the total amount potentially reaching up to $100 million. Founded in 2017, Keyrock offers services including market making, asset management, OTC, and options services. In September of last year, the company expanded its asset management capabilities by acquiring Luxembourg-based alternative fund management firm Turing Capital.
