Kalshi has filed a self-certification application to offer perpetual futures on 12 cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum, XRP, Solana, and Dogecoin. This move follows the CFTC's recent approval of bitcoin perpetual futures. The application also covers Stellar, Chainlink, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Sui, Shiba Inu, Polkadot, and Hedera. The CFTC has indicated that perpetual futures for cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin will be evaluated individually, and Kalshi's proposed products are still pending approval.
