Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour has likened the company's competition with Polymarket to legendary sports rivalries, such as those between Tom Brady and Eli Manning, and Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Speaking on a podcast, Mansour highlighted that this rivalry is spurring both companies to innovate and grow, ultimately benefiting their customers. Kalshi, established in 2018, has recently partnered with major networks CNN and CNBC, and has raised $10 billion at a $110 billion valuation. Meanwhile, Polymarket, founded in 2020, boasts a valuation of $135 billion as of November.
