Kaiko has announced the acquisition of Cometh, a company holding MiCA/CASP licenses, to bolster its on-chain data infrastructure. This strategic move aims to integrate Cometh's data, analytics, indices, and on-chain infrastructure with Kaiko's smart contract engineering expertise. Following the acquisition, Kaiko plans to offer a comprehensive infrastructure that includes BMR-authorized indices, MiCA-compliant products, oracles, and on-chain execution capabilities. Cometh, certified under ISO 27001:2022, has been granted MiCA/CASP licenses by France's AMF, enhancing Kaiko's regulatory compliance and service offerings.
