K Bank, a South Korean internet bank, has announced a strategic partnership with Ripple to leverage Ripple's global payment network and infrastructure. The collaboration aims to explore improvements in speed, cost, and transparency for blockchain-based international remittances. The partnership will focus on validating digital wallet technology, co-developing overseas remittance models, and expanding digital asset cooperation. Currently, K Bank and Ripple are in the second phase of testing on-chain fund transfers in markets such as the UAE and Thailand. They are also introducing Ripple's SaaS-based digital wallet, Palisade, to identify the optimal model for these operations.
