Jupiter, a decentralized exchange aggregator, has launched the Token Verification API (VRFD) to streamline token creation on the Solana blockchain. This new API allows launchpads, decentralized exchanges, and AI agents to integrate verification directly into their processes. Developers can utilize a three-step process involving the burning of 1,000 JUP tokens and submitting a verification request with the token's metadata. Notably, this process incurs no gas fees, eliminating the need for developers to hold SOL for transaction costs. Jupiter aims to establish VRFD as the standard infrastructure for Solana projects.
