A U.S. federal judge has ruled that Martin Shkreli can be sued for allegedly retaining and distributing a copy of Wu-Tang Clan's rare album 'Once Upon a Time in Shaolin.' Judge Pamela Chen permitted PleasrDAO to pursue claims of trade secret misappropriation and property recovery, while dismissing copyright-related allegations. The album, recorded between 2007 and 2013, was sold for over $2 million in 2021 and later acquired by PleasrDAO for $750,000. Shkreli, who was ordered to surrender the album in 2015, reportedly admitted to copying and sharing the tracks during live streams.
