JPYC, the issuer of the Japanese yen stablecoin, has announced a collaboration with South Korean IT giant ITCEN GLOBAL to conduct joint research on stablecoins. The partnership aims to explore the future potential of a "Japan-Korea stablecoin" by sharing policy and practical information. This collaboration is expected to lay the groundwork for future innovations in cross-border stablecoins and asset tokenization. ITCEN GLOBAL, with an annual revenue of approximately 5 trillion Korean won, is advancing its gold RWA project "K-Gold" through its subsidiary Korda and has already engaged in RWA and STO-related activities in Japan.
