JPMorgan Chase has appointed former Goldman Sachs executive Oliver Harris to lead its blockchain business, Kinexys. Harris replaces Naveen Mallela, who has joined Standard Chartered. His responsibilities will include driving commercialization and expanding institutional client engagement. Kinexys, launched in 2019, reported a daily transaction volume of approximately $5 billion as of December last year. Additionally, JPMorgan has introduced JPM Coin for on-chain settlements with institutional clients.
