Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin has proposed an improved strategy model for Ethereum, inspired by discussions with Michael Saylor, founder of Bitcoin treasury company Strategy. Lubin suggests that an 'Ethereum version of the Strategy model' could surpass existing frameworks by focusing on continuous accumulation and staking of ETH. This approach involves allocating 100% of capital to ETH and fully participating in staking to generate yields, thereby achieving compounding growth from the outset. Lubin highlights that unlike a Bitcoin-only holding strategy, Ethereum's model allows for asset appreciation and reallocation through staking rewards and multi-layered returns within its ecosystem. This strategy shifts the balance sheet from a 'holding-only' model to a 'yield + allocation' model, potentially offering greater financial benefits.
