Currently, Block holds a total of 8,883 BTC. This marks the first public Bitcoin giveaway of its kind since the early Bitcoin Faucet in 2010, 16 years ago. However, community developers have reportedly discovered the page through a public CDN path, suggesting the event may primarily aim to promote Block's Bitkey wallet and Cash App.
