Iran’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance has established an “Economic War Command Headquarters” to centrally assess war-related economic issues and coordinate departments to speed up policy responses.
Deputy Minister Morteza Zamani said the body will initially focus on matters within the ministry’s authority, including the war’s impact on business operations, trade and economic-sector financing. Issues outside the ministry’s remit will be handled through cross-departmental coordination.
