The Iranian Foreign Ministry has accused the United States of violating a ceasefire agreement following an attack in Iran's southern Hormozgan province. According to a statement released on Tuesday, the US military conducted strikes on Monday targeting vessels and missile launch positions in the region, actions which the US described as defensive. Explosions were reported in the port city of Bandar Abbas, intensifying tensions. Iran has demanded that the US take full responsibility for the consequences of what it calls aggressive and unjustified acts.
