Ionic Digital reported mining 20.45 BTC in April 2026, marking a 27.1% decrease from March. The company's average daily hash rate fell by 26.2% to 1.51 EH/s, primarily due to the shutdown of its GXD hosting mine in Oklahoma. Currently, only four mines in Midland are operational, contributing all of April's BTC output.
Despite the operational challenges, Ionic Digital maintained a zero-debt position and refrained from selling any BTC during the month. The company increased its BTC holdings to 2,836.4 BTC by April 30, reflecting a net gain of approximately 19.9 BTC. Meanwhile, the global network hash rate saw a slight decline of 2.1%, with block production rising marginally by 0.5%.
