The platform now allows trading of 11 major cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin, alongside traditional financial instruments like stocks and bonds. The service offers 24/7 trading with commissions ranging from 0.12% to 0.18% of trade volume, without spreads, markups, or custody fees, and supports limit orders.
The crypto trading feature is integrated with ZeroHash, a regulated infrastructure provider, and is accessible via Interactive Brokers' platforms such as Trader Workstation, IBKR Desktop, and IBKR Mobile. This expansion potentially reaches a market of approximately 450 million users, enhancing the firm's comprehensive trading offerings.
