Injective has proposed the Vulcan Mainnet Upgrade, set for June 4, aiming to revolutionize its blockchain infrastructure. The upgrade, currently in the voting phase, will introduce a next-generation oracle engine, reducing oracle gas consumption by 90%. It will integrate Pyth Pro and SEDA oracles, offering unified oracle access for EVM smart contracts via precompiles. The upgrade also focuses on strengthening stablecoin issuance infrastructure, promoting the USDC standard, and enabling low-cost pricing for tokenized real-world asset markets. Additionally, it aims to lower transaction costs and enhance cross-chain bridge security through strict address validation, optimized concurrent processing, and Ledger multisig support.
