A recent report by Independent Reserve reveals that approximately one-third of Singaporeans surveyed in 2026 have held or currently hold cryptocurrencies, marking an increase from 29% in 2025 to 32%. The survey, which included 1,500 respondents, highlights that 42% of crypto investors are aged between 35 and 54, with 77% of this group considering cryptocurrencies important for long-term wealth growth. Additionally, 65% of these investors sold more crypto assets in the past year. The report also indicates that 76% of investors have allocated no more than 10% of their overall investment portfolio to cryptocurrencies. The primary motivations for retaining crypto assets include estate planning and wealth accumulation.
