Tommaso Mancini-Griffoli, currently Assistant Director at the IMF, will take over as head of the BIS Innovation Hub on March 1, 2026. He will serve a five-year term and join the BIS Executive Board. Mancini-Griffoli is responsible for payments and financial market infrastructure at the IMF. The BIS Innovation Hub, which he will lead, operates across seven global centers and collaborates strategically with the Federal Reserve. He succeeds Cecilia Skingsley, with Andréa M. Maechler having served as acting head.
