The joint request for postponement is expected to be filed in Sangamon County circuit court, allowing both parties to bypass preliminary injunction hearings and proceed directly to arguments regarding the constitutionality and enforceability of the Digital Asset Tax Act. Approved in June, the tax targets crypto firms exceeding $100,000 in receipts from transaction activities and asset storage services.
