ICBC Chengdu Branch issued Sichuan’s first “Token computing power scenario” loan to a high-tech company in Chengdu High-tech Zone, incorporating AI computing consumption and Token procurement costs into the credit evaluation system for the first time.
The company, which develops software, mini programs, apps and AI agents, had struggled to secure financing due to a lack of traditional collateral. ICBC used actual computing power bills, token call logs, computing service contracts, AI business orders and accounts receivable as core credit materials. The loan proceeds are designated for large model API call fees and computing power rental fees, easing pressure from the mismatch between upfront computing payments and later project receivables.
