Hyundai Group and Hyundai Motor Group offices in Seoul received a bomb threat email on December 19, demanding 13 bitcoins to prevent an explosion. The suspect threatened to move the bomb to Yangjae-dong for further attacks if the demand was not met. Police have deployed special forces to search the premises, but no explosives have been found so far.
This incident is part of a series of similar threats targeting major South Korean companies, including Samsung, KT, Kakao, and Naver. Authorities are actively investigating to identify the suspect behind these threats.
