HypurrFi, a DeFi lending protocol based on HyperEVM, has reported that its domain hypurr.fi was hijacked on April 4 due to a social engineering attack targeting the registrar. The domain remains under the control of the attackers. In response, the team has migrated its infrastructure to hypurrfi.com, which is fully operational. The protocol, user funds, and team infrastructure remain unaffected. The team is collaborating with the registrar to recover the domain, and the malicious domain has been blocked by several major wallets. Users are advised to avoid interacting with the hijacked domain or signing unknown transactions.
