Hyperscale Data is advancing its transition from a crypto miner to an infrastructure-as-a-service provider by expanding AI compute leasing at its Michigan Data Center Campus. The company plans to increase its capacity from the current 30 MW to 340 MW by the third quarter of 2029. This expansion includes agreements for 300 MW from an electric utility and 40 MW from a natural gas utility, with a target of reaching 70 MW by the second quarter of 2027.
In addition to infrastructure expansion, Hyperscale Data is launching an on-demand NVIDIA GPU cloud platform in the first half of 2026, offering models like NVIDIA H100, B200, and B300 for AI and high-performance computing. The company has filed a $125 million shelf registration to support its growth and partnered with AGIBOT PTE. LTD. for AI and robotics operations. Over the next three years, Hyperscale Data plans to hire over 500 employees to support its expansion efforts.
