Hyperliquid’s HIP-3 developer-deployed perpetuals market recorded $73 billion in trading volume in August, with stock-linked contracts accounting for 67% of the total, according to CryptoRank. Stock trading volume reached $49 billion during the month.
HIP-3 allows developers to deploy perpetual contract markets independently. CryptoRank said stocks are on track to overtake commodities by 2026 to become the largest category by trading volume on the HIP-3 platform.
