UK-based robotics company Humanoid has completed a $152 million Series A funding round, elevating its post-money valuation to $1.35 billion. This milestone positions Humanoid as Europe's first unicorn in the humanoid robotics sector. The funding round was led by Prime Movers Lab, with contributions from Schaeffler, Bosch, Fubon Financial Holdings Venture Capital, and Aglaé Ventures.
Humanoid has secured an order from Schaeffler for 1,000 robots and, with Bosch's support, plans to produce 100,000 units over the next five years. The company's flagship product, the HMND 01 wheeled humanoid robot, is set to begin commercial pilots in logistics, manufacturing, and retail by year-end. Additionally, Humanoid has developed KinetIQ, a proprietary AI platform for coordinating robot fleets in industrial tasks.
