Hostplus, one of Australia's largest pension funds, is considering incorporating cryptocurrencies into its investment options. The fund, which manages over AUD 150 billion (approximately USD 105 billion) in assets, is exploring ways to offer Bitcoin and other digital assets through its Choiceplus investment option, according to Chief Investment Officer Sam Sicilia. Choiceplus allows members to self-manage their retirement savings portfolios, with assets under this option currently representing about 1% of the fund's total assets.
