The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has added four new platforms to its list of suspicious virtual asset trading platforms over the past two months. The platforms, identified as HKTWeb3, AmazingTech, 9M AI, and Hong Kong Stablecoin Exchange, are all suspected of operating without a license.
HKTWeb3 falsely claimed on its website to be in partnership with a licensed virtual asset trading platform, a claim that has been refuted. Meanwhile, the Hong Kong Stablecoin Exchange falsely asserted that it was established by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the Joint Exchange, and the Futures Exchange Hong Kong, though it has no actual affiliation with these entities.
