Tony Tang, Deputy Director of the Financial Research Institute at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, has predicted that Bitcoin could reach $1 million per coin by 2030. This projection comes amid expectations of a significant increase in the issuance of stablecoins, which could grow from $280-300 billion last year to between $1.5 and $3 trillion by 2030. Additionally, the share of on-chain financial services is anticipated to expand from a single-digit percentage to 20-30% by the end of the decade.
