Two individuals were targeted in a knife-point robbery attempt at Sheung Wan MTR station in Hong Kong after exchanging approximately HKD 10 million at a currency exchange shop. Thanks to preemptive police measures, the suspects were apprehended, and the victims suffered no financial loss. This incident marks the third major cash robbery in the Sheung Wan area in the past three months, following similar heists on December 18, 2025, and January 30, involving virtual currency exchange shops. Hong Kong police are investigating potential links to organized crime and connections between these incidents.
