HIVE Digital Technologies has announced that its Bitcoin mining hashrate has reached 23 exahashes per second (EH/s), marking a 283% increase this year. The company aims to further boost its hashrate to 25 EH/s by the end of November, leveraging its 100 MW hydroelectric park in Paraguay. This expansion is part of HIVE's strategy to generate revenue for its transition into AI computing infrastructure. HIVE is converting some Bitcoin mining facilities into liquid-cooled, AI-enabled data centers, with plans to increase its GPU count from 5,000 to 36,000 by 2026. The company currently holds approximately 2,201 bitcoins, ranking it as the 34th largest digital asset vault globally.
