HIVE Digital's subsidiary, BUZZ High Performance Computing (BUZZ HPC), has secured a significant GPU cloud contract valued at up to $220 million. The three-year agreement involves a partnership with Bell Canada and Cohere, focusing on sovereign AI infrastructure. The collaboration will leverage Bell AI Fabric’s data center and network infrastructure, Cohere’s large language models, and BUZZ HPC’s NVIDIA-accelerated GPU cloud platform.
As part of the contract, BUZZ HPC will acquire GB200 NVL72 rack-scale systems, featuring 2,304 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GPUs. This AI cluster is set to enhance compute power for Cohere’s foundational models and enterprise AI applications, marking a substantial advancement in AI capabilities for the involved parties.
