Hive Digital Technologies has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 22 exahash per second (EH/s) in Bitcoin mining capacity, marking a 267% increase since the start of the year. This growth is largely attributed to its hydro-powered mining operations in Paraguay. The company is on track to reach 25 EH/s by U.S. Thanksgiving, while maintaining a fleet efficiency of 17.5 joules per terahash.
In addition to its mining achievements, Hive is expanding its AI capabilities by transforming its Boden, Sweden site into a Tier-3 data center. This facility will host 2,000 NVIDIA GPUs dedicated to AI workloads. Furthermore, Hive plans to deploy an additional 2,000 GPUs in Toronto by 2026, underscoring its commitment to advancing AI infrastructure alongside its cryptocurrency operations.
