HIVE Digital Technologies has announced plans to expand its hydropower-driven data center campus in Paraguay as part of its third-phase renewable energy project. The expansion aims to increase capacity to 400 megawatts, with construction set to begin in early 2026 and completion expected by the third quarter of the same year. The company is targeting a global Bitcoin mining capacity of 35 EH/s by 2026, having already increased its capacity from 6 EH/s at the start of the year to 22 EH/s, with expectations to reach 25 EH/s by year-end.
