Helium Mobile, operating on the Solana blockchain, has reached a milestone of 500,000 registered users, doubling its user base since May. The decentralized wireless network now supports over 1.2 million daily users through 113,891 hotspots. Network revenue remains strong, with daily Helium Data Credits burning approximately $50,000, largely due to mobile usage. In a strategic move, Helium Mobile is directing all user revenue towards the destruction of HNT tokens, implementing automated buybacks via Jupiter Exchange. This approach has resulted in a net deflation of the token supply, as destruction rates surpass issuance. The network's growth underscores the expansion of the DePIN sector, with network fees totaling $4 million over three months, outpacing competitors like GEODNET and Akash Network.
