Hang Seng Indexes Company announced that Anthropic, PBC (ticker: ANT.O) will be added as a designated US-listed constituent to the Hang Seng Hong Kong-US Technology Index, pending confirmation of its listing. Following Anthropic's debut, the weights of all nine US-listed constituents will be recalculated to equal weighting after the market close on the seventh trading day post-listing, with the new constituent and weights taking effect on the 11th trading day. The index will also update its stock selection universe, constituent selection criteria, fast-entry mechanism, replacement rules for temporarily removed constituents, and introduce a new liquidity requirement. The revised methodology takes effect starting from the index review as of September 30, 2026, with related constituent changes effective December 14. The index name and code remain unchanged.
