Crypto market maker GSR has filed an application with the SEC to launch a Digital Asset Treasury Company ETF. The proposed ETF will allocate at least 80% of its assets to publicly traded companies holding cryptocurrencies. Initially, it plans to include 10-15 stocks, such as Strategy, Bitmine, SharpLink, and SUI Group. Additionally, GSR has applied for four other funds focused on Ethereum staking, crypto staking, core assets (BTC, ETH, SOL), and Ethereum yield. This move comes as the SEC has recently relaxed listing standards for commodity trust funds, creating a more favorable environment for crypto ETF approvals.
