Google's Threat Intelligence Group has identified a new iOS exploit kit, "Coruna," capable of attacking iPhones running iOS 13.0 to 17.2.1. The kit, which includes five exploit chains and 23 vulnerabilities, targets mnemonic phrases from encrypted wallets. Initially discovered in February 2025, it has been linked to Russian intelligence targeting Ukrainian users and has appeared on fake Chinese websites to steal crypto assets. Users are advised to update to the latest iOS version or enable "Lock Mode" for protection, as the exploit is incompatible with the latest iOS update.
