GOAT Network has partnered with DitoBanx to launch a Bitcoin yield pilot program in Mexico, targeting over 100,000 users. The initiative introduces GOAT Network's Safebox product into DitoBanx's regulated mobile app, allowing users to earn Bitcoin returns without custodial risks. This non-custodial model ensures principal protection and Bitcoin-denominated earnings, leveraging GOAT Network's decentralized sequencer reward mechanism. The pilot offers a 1.5% annual percentage yield (APY) over a three-month term, enabling users to retain control over their Bitcoin while participating in the yield program. DitoBanx CEO Guillermo Contreras highlighted the project's significance in empowering users to grow wealth without compromising asset sovereignty. As the pilot progresses, both companies plan to expand the product to other markets where DitoBanx operates, including the United States and El Salvador.
