Global gold ETFs attracted a record $31 billion in inflows during the third quarter, driven by $10 billion in September alone. Funds listed in North America and Europe led the surge, with the United States contributing the largest share followed by UK-listed funds that posted their strongest quarter ever.
Despite declining gold prices, global holdings increased by 67 tonnes to a record 4,256 tonnes. Total assets under management fell 7% month-on-month to $574 billion due to price movements, even as investor demand reached historic levels across both regional and global benchmarks.
