The number of individuals worldwide holding cryptocurrency assets worth over $1 million has surged to 241,700, marking a 40% increase from the previous year, according to the "2025 Crypto Wealth Report" by Henley & Partners and New World Wealth. The report highlights a significant rise in Bitcoin millionaires, with 145,100 individuals now holding over $1 million in Bitcoin, a 70% year-over-year increase. Additionally, the report notes that 450 individuals now possess over $100 million in cryptocurrency, an 8% increase, while 36 individuals hold over $1 billion, a 29% rise from last year. This growth is attributed to increased institutional participation and the introduction of new national digital currency initiatives.
