The suspect is accused of running a global cybercrime operation involving ransomware, hacking, and offering DDoS-for-hire services. These services allowed clients to launch DDoS attacks worldwide, crippling victims' computer systems and websites. Ransom payments were made in cryptocurrencies, classifying the activities as transnational cybercrime. The 26-year-old suspect, who had previously operated in Dubai and China, was apprehended in a luxury apartment in Bangkok's Thonglor area.
