The Georgia Resilience & Opportunity (GRO) Fund has unveiled the Freedom Futures program, a guaranteed income initiative for young adults. Participants aged 18 to 25 will receive $500 monthly for 48 months, totaling $24,000. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in high school or a tertiary institution and have a household income at or below twice the federal poverty level. In addition to the monthly income, participants can access over $20,000 in investment capital for wealth-building activities, such as homeownership or education, starting in the program's third year. Financial education is a prerequisite for accessing this capital. Applications are open until August 27th, with the first payments scheduled for September 2025.
