On-chain trading terminal Genius has launched a fee-backed token buyback mechanism on its Genius.fun platform, beginning with the GSTOCK token. Under the new model, 20% of fees generated by the Genius Foundation for the GSTOCK trading pair will be allocated to token buybacks. The initiative extends beyond GSTOCK: any token with a market capitalization exceeding $2 million can apply to adopt the same buyback structure, potentially creating a recurring demand mechanism tied directly to platform trading activity.
