Gemini has unveiled a new file generation feature, allowing users to create documents in various formats directly within the app. As of April 30, users can generate files by describing their needs through prompts, with support for formats including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, LaTeX, plain text, RTF, and Markdown. These files can be downloaded or exported to Google Drive, enhancing productivity by eliminating the need for manual copying and pasting. The feature is now available globally to all Gemini app users.
