DeFi risk management platform Gauntlet has raised $125 million in an exclusive funding round led by Japanese financial giant SBI Holdings. This investment significantly surpasses Gauntlet's 2022 Series B round, which raised nearly $24 million at a valuation of approximately $1 billion. Gauntlet, founded by former Wall Street analyst Tarun Chitra, initially focused on stress testing and risk analysis for DeFi protocols but has since shifted to evaluating risks in DeFi yield vault strategies. The platform's clients include Apollo, Coinbase, and Circle.
