Garden Finance, a cross-chain yield platform, has reportedly suffered a multi-chain attack resulting in losses exceeding $5.5 million, according to on-chain analyst ZachXBT. The stolen assets were swiftly converted into non-freezing tokens, with the attack traced to the address 0x98BCc6c34A489CEfdD9DfA8d792CFEFb02Ea2D12. In response, Garden Finance has reached out to the suspected attacker via an on-chain message, offering a 10% white hat reward for the return of the assets and a fix to the vulnerability.
ZachXBT highlighted the irony of the situation, noting that he had recently criticized Garden Finance for ignoring user refund requests and pointed out that over 25% of the platform's activity involved stolen funds. As of now, Garden Finance has not issued an official statement regarding the attack.
