The GANA Payment project suffered a significant security breach today, resulting in the loss of over $3.1 million on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The attacker initially transferred 1,140 BNB, valued at approximately $1.04 million, into Tornado Cash on BSC. Subsequently, the stolen funds were bridged to Ethereum, where the attacker deposited an additional 346 ETH, worth about $1.05 million, into Tornado Cash.
Currently, the exploiter retains 346 ETH, equivalent to $1.046 million, on the Ethereum network. The theft involved multiple addresses, including 0x2e8a8670b734e260cedbc6d5a05532264aae5c38 and 0xd10ed57534dc63f2ea9dc0cb0096086f3cc8fa4d, with the Ethereum address being 0x7a503e3ab9433ebf13afb4f7f1793c25733b3cca.
