Galaxy Digital has allocated $100 million of Sky Protocol's sUSDS to its corporate treasury using balance sheet funds and approved the asset as collateral for its institutional trading business. The firm's institutional lending operations carry an average loan size of approximately $1.4 billion.
In addition to the treasury allocation, Galaxy purchased an undisclosed amount of SKY tokens. The move expands the existing partnership between Galaxy and Sky Protocol in the lending sector, integrating the yield-bearing stablecoin into Galaxy's institutional infrastructure.
