Galaxy and Sharplink have announced the launch of the Galaxy Sharplink Onchain Yield Fund, a $125 million private fund aimed at institutional investors. Sharplink will contribute $100 million from its staked Ether reserves, while Galaxy will add $25 million and manage the fund. The initiative seeks to leverage liquidity protocols and onchain yield strategies to generate returns beyond standard staking. Sharplink reported a first-quarter net loss of $685.6 million, largely due to unrealized markdowns on its Ether holdings as prices fell. Despite this, revenue increased significantly to $12.1 million, driven by staking income. The firm holds over 868,000 ETH and has earned approximately 18,800 ETH in staking rewards since June 2025. Meanwhile, Ethereum trades near $2,338, with technical indicators suggesting a neutral-to-mild bullish momentum.
